Communications/Newsletter Editor: Responsible for producing our organization's newsletter.

Conference: This Committee is responsible for all aspects of planning the annual conference including program and speaker selection, location, events, socials, exhibitions, sponsorships, and entertainment.

Development: This Committee is charged with developing a strategic plan that will enable Georgia Composting Association to sustain long-term statewide and national leadership as a State Recycling Organization. Membership categories targeted to work towards this goal are Government and Industry. The Committee works to gain stronger recycling support in these sectors.

Education: This Committee is responsible for putting together two Issues Forums each year. This includes developing topics of current and timely interests to the membership and securing speakers and sponsors. It also works to foster relationships and co-sponsorships with other recycling groups and help members release articles for publication in national and local periodicals.

Legislative: This Committee tracks legislation affecting the public & private sectors. It informs or alerts members of any threat of proposed Legislative change in law or funding which would adversely effect recycling or waste reduction in Georgia.

Membership: This Committee works to recruit and maintain private and public sector members for Georgia Composting Association development. Conducts surveys of Georgia Composting Association member needs.

Nominations This committee surveys membership for good candidates to serve on the Georgia Composting Association Board of Directors and conducts board elections each year.
